nutty day in the office
Had to go in an hour early and left at 9pm, scheduling michael jackson videos basically for 12 hours.
watch fuse to get your dose of MJ. his videos are pretty freaking fantastic, as was he.
it hit me at 9pm when i finally stopped to watch a video (for "bad") and i saw him on the screen, singing and dancing...then i almost started crying. so tragic.
after my long day at work i went to cosi for dinner then to angels and kings for marisa's bday.
A glass fell and shattered and got me on the way down, of course. I didnt think anything of it until my leg felt wet and there was blood dripping down. I wiped it away but it didnt stop. My shoe is gross.
A worker came over with cleansing wipes, antibacterial cream, gauze and more random things. It stung so much.
...i guess it doesnt look that bad. but it was gross and it hurt.

new york city has so much to do in one little day.
Tonight I went with Matt to see Twelfth Night at Delacorte Theater in Central Park -
Starring this lady:
and it was really good! It was so funny. but really cold.
Earlier Allison and I went to play Seek N Spell at pier 44. We were given IPhones with the app on it, and we were put against 2 other people/teams so it was 3 teams per game. Then a gps map of where we were loads, and we are all different colored dots on the map running after letters that drop down. We see the letters on the map and run to them and they get put in our letter bank. Gold letters were double word scores. We had to make as many words and get as many letters and points as we were able to in 6 (or 10 sometimes) minutes.
Allison and I won the first game, tied 2nd game, and came in 2nd third game. It was sooooo fun!!!
I love Come Out and Play.

tonight was so funny! after a busy work day, allison and i met up to go to Hijack The Band, an interactive concert where the people in the crowd answer trivia questions and control part of the bands set via their cell phones.
it was so much fun. part of Come Out And Play. Then I hung out with Matt and his friends.
Tomorrow we're going to try to do the Whale Hunt, but its full already! I put us on the waitlist, so we'll see :)

I'm so unsettled on the inside. so ancy. i need to go on tour so badly. i want to work on a tour. that is 100% what i want to be doing.
and i hate hearing about warped tour because i wont be on it. worst feeling ever. i get so mad and sad when I hear people talking about it, which is always bc of work and friends.
I want to go on a big production tour. reaallllllyyyy badly.
but i do love my job. just not right now. i dont want to be here now. i want to be everywhere.
i get nauseous thinking about it.

i knew today was going to be a good day.
This morning I had to get up early for an eye doctor appointment. I walk in and he's playing the Hannah Montana Movie Soundtrack. And he was very cute. It as at that moment I knew today was going to be good.
I get to work and its really tame, and I tell my 1 boss that was there that I'm interested in helping out with casting. So I sit with Tara and we go through some reels. I check my phone and my lil cuz tells me Jonas Brothers are playing a free secret show at Irving Plaza tonight!
I go through my mental phone book to figure out how i could get in. Then Annie turns the corner and I ask her. luckily, her friend WORKS WITH THE JONAS BROTHERS! he put me on the list. I freaked. people were shocked at my reaction. and turns out I know the dude too :) so happy. thanks dude!!!
I got in early bc I was on the guest list and I went upstairs to get a good spot on the balcony. I didnt move throughout the whole show. Tried to make room for some little girls behind me, but the selfish girls next to me wouldnt turn sideways so they could slide in. Well, I was an ass too because I DIDNT MOVE! I'm 22 years old and I didnt move for the screaming 9 year olds behind me. minus karma points.
So I was really close. and i took some lame blackberry pics and a blackberry video of lovebug, my fav jbros song.
tonight was an experience.
remember when i tried to convince my department we should play jbros bc they appeal to much more than just little girls? I was very wrong.

im really excited about this...
from oh no they didnt:
EXCLUSIVE: Robert Rodriguez Hopes To Begin Filming Live-Action ‘Jetsons’ Movie Next Year
Robert Rodriguez has a lot on his directorial plate. He’s rebooting the “Predator” franchise, he’s gearing up for another go at “Sin City,” he’s pushing forward with a “Grindhouse” spin-off called “Machete” and he’s prepping the sci-fi thriller “Nerverackers.” So we were pretty surprised to hear during a recent conversation with the director about one project he’s hoping to launch as soon as next year: a live-action adaptation of “The Jetsons.”
Rodriguez’s updated take on the futuristic ‘60s-era cartoon has been rumored for awhile, but with all of the other films that Rodriguez is attempting to undertake it seemed quite possible that an ambitious new “Jetsons” would remain on the backburner. Not so, as the man himself told MTV News.
“I’ve been developing [The Jetsons] for awhile,” Rodriguez said, adding that he’s hoping to start shooting “next year.”
While the director did confirm that the film would be live-action, he was predictably mum about other details. Adam F. Goldberg (”Fanboys”) penned an early draft of the script, but it has since been reworked.
“We’re writing the script right now,” Rodriguez said excitedly, before declining to drop any hints about the plot or potential casting choices.
So there you have it. “The Jetsons” is gonna happen — and a lot sooner than you probably thought. And we’ll just be left to speculate about potential casting choices for George Jetson, his boy Elroy, daughter Judy, Jane his wife, as well as George’s ill-tempered boss Mr. Spacely and the family’s robot housekeeper Rosie.

zack morris
in second grade i wrote an autobiography and said i would name my son zack. at the time, i had the hugest hugest crush on zack morris. and he's back:
john stamos and rock of ages
I went to see Rock of Ages tonight with Ko and some work peeps, and it was AWESOME!!! i loved it! so much fun.
before the play we were sitting and i recognize this guy sitting diagonal from us as the supporting actor in West Side Story which I saw on Thursday. I still had my playbill from that in my bag so i referenced it and confirmed it. after the show i told him he did a great job in West Side Story.
Also before the play starts, ko and i are flipping through the playbill and she points out that John Stamos is goign to be in Bye Bye Birdie. we proceed to discuss how he is one of those guys, much like George Clooney, who are gorgeous and age beautifully. 10 minutes later he walks in and sits next to us. (well, across. we were on the aisle and he was across the aisle.) we were cracking up! what are the freaking chances?!?!
And it is confirmed. he is gorgeous. :D
sooo that was really fun!
