pie contest
Allison and I entered a pie contest in brooklyn tonight. we made a marshmallow mermaid pie (From the movie Waitress) and it was yummy. but we were the last of SIXTY-TWO pies! so we didnt win. probably because the judges were ready to vomit.
it was a fun, crazy pie contest!

i LOVE this band. Neon Trees
went to see Neon Trees last night with Ko at Mercury Lounge. They're Island's newest band. they were so fun, so much stage presence. Pete Wentz was there and so was the Tyler, singer of Theory of a Deadman. Random. Their debut album comes out March 23rd. I suggest you check them out. I really hope this band get big.

SOOOOO hard to go up to people in subways. i was about to go up to so many people and turned away at the last second. its scary. but its good for me to do.
i got dennis today on my way home from Trivia.
trivia was awesome, we came in 4th place out of 12 or 13 teams.

starting a neat blog
Naomi, Laura and I are starting a blog where we post pictures of people on the subway who are listening to music and we'll tell you what they're listening to.
we each have to take at least 1 picture a day on the subway. we go up to the person, ask what their listening to, their age and name, then we post it.
I'll let you all know the site once we have it all worked out.
Naomi took the first picture today. he was rocking out! can't wait for it to launch, i'm really excited about it.

nick jonas
went to see nick jonas at the beacon theatre on thursday and it was faaaaantastic! at one point he got close to us and i got nervous. thats inappropriate. he's too young.

Revenge, Facebook Style: Brother 1, Sister 0
I’ve been laughing for the past 3 minutes about this. SoJones family, if your sibling gets on your very last nerve and you have some juicy blackmail material on them, what do you do?
The picture below explains everything, but let me tell you what happened in short:
Chris hides beer in his bedroom (we assume he’s underaged). Sister snitches on him. “asian parents are [f*ing] strict” as he explains, and they subsequently ground him for three months.
Infuriated and looking to get back at his sister, Chris subsequently discovers her very graphically detailed notes entitled “My hook up list” which describes her goals and aspirations for getting down with 10 different individuals, some of whom are crossed off aka “mission accomplished”. So what does dear brother do with this scandalous material?
He of course scans and posts it on his Facebook account. Tags hella people on it, including named “targets” who quickly find and comment on.

This is the cake Maura and I decorated and entered into John Mayer's Interfaith Baking contest. Its a snowglobe. a mr. hanky one. with John Mayer playing guitar! my camera died, so we had to take pics with our phones. I hope we win. fingers crossed.

HAPPY NEW YEARS!
Happy twenty-ten everybody :)
today was awesome. i had brunch with ziggy, jes and jake, and when i came home the cute doorman asked me if i went to the salon! i told him nope, i just took my hat off. and then i FINALLY asked him his name, after five months of living here.
he's so cute!!!
I don't really go for new years resolutions, but here are a few things I want to work on starting now. call it a resolution if you wish. I'll just call them goals.
I want to hear people's voices more, text less. I'll call people back if we're having a conversation that is easier to have via phone call.
I'm going to say yes more. that's my big one. i need to stop making stupid excuses to not hang out and start living it up a little more. go for it. why not?
Did anybody out there make any resolutions/goals? what are they?! let me know.
is anybody even there? who reads this? anyone?
cool.
Go get your goals. reach for the stars. live and laugh and accomplish.
