starting a neat blog

Naomi, Laura and I are starting a blog where we post pictures of people on the subway who are listening to music and we'll tell you what they're listening to.

we each have to take at least 1 picture a day on the subway. we go up to the person, ask what their listening to, their age and name, then we post it.

I'll let you all know the site once we have it all worked out.

Naomi took the first picture today. he was rocking out! can't wait for it to launch, i'm really excited about it.

slip and trip and lights and vegas

I was running down the stairs to get in my subway train since it was there with open doors. its humid and a damp out. There was an old lady turning the corner to come up the stairs but i didnt see her until i went down all the stairs, so when i tried to stop my momentum was too high and i slipped on the slippery platform and took the poor old woman down with me.

She was so startled! I asked her if she was ok, she just glared at me. The conductor was holding the doors open for me, so i got up and ran into the subway, opened my bag, took out The Great Gatsby and read until I got to work.

So funny.


Last night Marisa and I researched flights and hotels for our Vegas weekend in April.


then we went down to Mercury Lounge to see Lights:

but it was sold out and we had to go home.

bummer.

I have to be part of a K-Swiss focus group after work today. woo!

superpowers.

if I could have a superpower, it would be to hear other peoples music when they're listening to their ipods or other music players of choice. but not if i could only pick one superpower. i would probably choose something else. but on the subway i always want to know what everyone else is listening to. but if other people had that power and heard me listening to the high school musical soundtracks, that wouldn't be very good. not that im ashamed to love hsm. but i dont think other people will truly appreciate it.

its cold today.
