experiments

i experimented with the time out ny personals tonight. i emailed someone and invited them to bingo on funday sunday. i'll keep you updated.

this weekend was very fun. sunday night bingo rules. we won 5 out of 7 games. i won a book with the word elephant in the title. then we went to play flip cup at boss tweeds. i got home at around 3:30 am. I'm living my college life now.

Yesterday was no work so we played frisbee in prospect park.

went with ko to get her new tats. rad.

then went grocery shopping and came home and made dinner for ko and ben and allison and bens friend.

then went to bingo with allison (FINALLY!) and ko to meet up with jes and jake and jenna and jes's parents. laura and mo and kristina and michael came tonight. fuuun!

but freaking getting home from bingo is the worst ever.

also, havent done laundry for weeks and i need to drop it off tomorrow because im on my emergency stock of underwear. i have no time to do laundry in my life! never dropped it off and im not gunna lie, im a little nervous.

laura almost died today

tom's flip cam caught much of the afternoon festivities on film.



laura almost died today when the perfume popper didnt explode on the floor, but in her hands. a crowd gathered. tom caught it on tape.

...then i discussed my dream about kevin jonas with a little girl there who likes him.


we set up a picnic in prospect park...




We played frisbee today. I stink....


Then I went to bingo with Laura and met up with a whole bunch of awesome people. Some new faces, a lot of old faces...it was wonderful.


today was great.

outplay 2009

today jon cheese, laura and i did this thing in central park called outplay.

and basically you show up and there are taped off areas, those are your fields. they put you into teams, give you a couple restrictions and some props, then you make up a game.

there are a few teams, and you have like 2 or 3 hours to actually make the game up and explain it to the ref of your field, then you go around and play everyones games.

ours was the best. it was very involved. this is what it was:

it was called "kelly clarkson tossing blindly"

we had 4 "zipcodes" which were just corners
and we had a hula hoop, frisbee, and silk things we made into blindfolds.
To get from zipcode 1 to 2, one member of the team had to stand in the 2nd zc and one at a time, each person on your team had to get the hula hoop around the person (they couldnt move their feet), then throw the frisbee through the hula hoop.
once everyone on the team did that, they get a point. its a race between 2 teams

to get from 2 to 3, one person takes the hula hoop and jump rope to the other side with it, stand in it, and throws the frisbee to everyone at the other side
if they catch it, they can take 3 steps toward you and throw it back, but cant move from their spot. the whole team needs to get over to you.

once everyone is over, you play the 3rd round, where you blindfold someone, throw the hula hoop and frisbee onto the field and give them instructions on how to get them. they need to get to the other side, so you keep throwing the stuff and blindfolding someone else on your team until they cross the line.

then the last part is marco polo, but you have to pick a number out of a bag and thats how many steps you can take whenever you get tagged by your team mate.

one team yells kelly - clarkson, the other marco-polo.

so if i picked 5, i can only take 5 steps everytime my blindfolded teammate gets me
and when everyone crosses the line its over and you win!

it was so fun. my camera died, so no pics.

then we went to play bingo. jes and jenna won. wooo!

Bingo was so fun this week! there weren't too many of us, but it was great. It was me, Laura, Mo, Jon Cheese, Jon's friend danielle, and for the last round of bingo forest and another dude from hellogoodbye. I won the first round and this was my prize (edited for those under 18...):



Then Jon won a round, he won a swine flu mask, and mo won, but he tied with like 3 other people! He reaaalllyy wanted the skull book too! But they gave it to a girl who won. booo. But 3 wins at our table is a pretty big deal.

Then on the subway home i shared music with Laura's friend and that ruled.

All in all, a freaking awesome night to make up for my ridiculous morning.

Bingo Champs!

Bingo was AMAZING tonight! It was just Ko, Ben and me, but we kicked butt. Bobby changed the rules to when you win you have to say:

"BINGO! COME ON, COME ON! FEEL IT, FEEL IT! AWWW YEAAAAHHH GUUURRRLLL!!!"

And i won!!! I was the first person ever to say that phrase and it was magnificent. I won turkey and gravy flavored chapstick, a toothbrush and mini toothpaste, and shots for my table :)




Then 2 rounds later Ben won! He won a pack of Pirate Tarot cards which he gave to me because I was extremely excited about them. I did some tarot card readings on the subway and apparently left a couple cards behind which Ben picked up. So I need to get those back on Saturday when we go over Ben's for dinner, then to UCB for a comedy show.

bingo night

tonight jenn, ko, ariana and i went to play bingo in brooklyn with jon cheese and some of his friends. it was really fun.


I have been working on a paper all day and have to finish it.















I'm not sure what's going on here but I really want to visit this "metro". looks like a lot of freakin fun.
