apparently, this really happens.

So last night while we're having our big dinner, the kids notice cops in the driveway of the house behind us. a few minutes later it looks like there is a UFO on their roof. Then I see people walking on the roof, so I go to look. There are 20 people at the table. Me and maybe 1 or 2 of the kids are the only people who noticed. I don't know how nobody else was distracted by the UFO hundreds of feet away.

Well, as you've probably guessed by now, it wasnt a UFO. It was a crane. The fire department had to go to my neighbors house with a crane to get the dad out of the chimney! He was trying to be Santa Claus and come down the chimney with gifts, but he got stuck and the crane had to come rescue him.
